To ensure every component meets accessibility standards and best practices, we built our components based on React Aria. React Aria is a library of unstyled primitives that make it easy to build high-quality and accessible components.
How is this different from a library?
Unlike traditional component libraries that are installed as a dependency, Untitled UI React gives you the source code.
When you select a component, its code is added directly to your project. This means no package dependencies to manage and no vendor lock-in! You have full control to modify, extend, or adapt the components to your specific needs—because you own the code.

Untitled UI React is the world's largest collection of open-source React components. The components are built with React Aria and TypeScript and styled with Tailwind CSS v4.3, and you copy their source code into your project instead of installing them as a package.
A large part of it is. The open-source components are licensed under the MIT license, so you can use them for free in unlimited commercial projects.
The base components are open-source, along with core application UI components such as tables, tabs, date pickers, charts, pagination, modals and navigation. Each marketing website section category also has a free variant.

There is no separate Tailwind config file: the theme is defined in CSS with Tailwind CSS v4's @theme directive in theme.css.
Traditional component libraries are installed as a dependency. With Untitled UI React, the component's source code is added directly to your project, so there's no component package to keep updated and no vendor lock-in. You can modify, extend or adapt the code however you need.
